Good read if you like ancient history. It can be a bit dry, but power through and you'll appreciate it.Product details

It was great to reread this classic of ancient history from the perspective of someone who lived at a time so close to his subject.

Required reading for anyone interested in politics and can learn from the past. I recommend reading it along with Machiavelli's Discourse on Livy.
I love this book. I recommend this to anyone who wants to read about the history of Rome. Thank you.
This ought to be required reading for all students. Don't think that democracy was born fully developed. It took generations of trial and error and brutal combat to develop the Roman Republic.
This is a great parallel reference to the current political situation. Also a useful reference for "I Claudius" and "Rome."
Good read if you like ancient history. It can be a bit dry, but power through and you'll appreciate it.
